Literature Text

(Sand moves in tidal waves across my skin
Shall we dare to let this- my holding is
The forgotten, and you'll lay with me
forever, again-)

Out on the waves, in the merciless deep,
The weight of your hand my kisses shall keep,
Oft as our breathing our movements shall be
Held in swift sway by the swoon of the sea.

Lay hands on my breast and say what you see
Deep in your mind as we dance, as we flee,
Give me your mouth and I'll ask not for air,
Give me your tongue and for bread I'll ne'er care,

Breathe into me as the night sways us on,
Tossed by the sea, the fire burns long
Kiss me an hour, then lay me to rest
Down in our power, down on your chest.

Rest me in flames the color of night,
Demand of me all the passions and light
Come to me quick to feast with our eyes
And lay hands on treasure beyond any prize.

WARNING!!!! I suppose this is PG13 or, well, probably R, for suggested sexual content.

Oh man, I don't know if I like this one so much or not... I LOVE THE PIC THOUGH.

Anyway, this is my first actually (what I would consider anyway.. but I have tame sensibilities...) erotic poem, which of course means it goes to great lengths to suggest and says very little.

Blame for this one if you're offended, as she fairly DEMANDED I post this. I DID warn you, though...

Yeah, Johnny Depp is all over the icon because this was inspired by PoTC and that beautiful Captain Jack Sparrow. Of course, it goes well beyond that and straight into the realm of who-knows-where, and in the end has a lot more to do with the romance of the high seas than any character or story in particular.

Kinda sonnetish pattern, almost.

Enough of me rambling.

That's so wonderful. No, honestly, this is the best poem I've seen in a LONG long time.
"Held in swift sway by the swoon of the sea." is my favorite line. It just... has rhythm, wonderful imagery, and alliteration all in one line :D

I agree with brianne, this is a very erotic poem, but it's very well done. I'll be addin' it to mah faves :D
